Stage 1: Virtual Qualifiers related FAQs:

1. Is the Stage 1 (Virtual Qualifier) a Sim Racing Round?

No. This is not a sim racing competition. This is an online application, where you tell us why you deserve to win and we review your racing skills via videos and other information that you submit.

 

2. Can I Participate if I Am Under 18?

Yes. Participants aged 13 to 17 are welcome to apply with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Can I Apply if I Have Never Driven a Go-Kart Before?

Yes. The Talent Hunt is open to drivers of all levels of experience.

4. Is the Entry Fee Refundable?

No. The application fee is non-refundable under any circumstances what so ever.

5. Can International Participants Apply?

Yes. The Talent Hunt is open to participants from around the world.

​

6. What is Required for the Virtual Qualifier?

Simply tell us why you deserve to win, and add any racing videos of yourself to showcase your skills.

 

7. How are drivers evaluated in Stage 1?

Applicants are judged based on your driving technique, racing awareness, consistency, and your responses in the application

8. Can I Submit an Old Karting Video?

Yes, provided the video clearly shows your driving and accurately represents your current ability.

 

9. Does the Video Have to Be Onboard?

Onboards are preferable, but not mandated. A video recorded from the side of the track is also accepted.

 

10. Can I Submit Simulator Footage Instead of a Karting Video?

No. Simulator footage is not accepted. The Virtual Qualifier requires a karting video for evaluation.

11. What Type of Kart Can I Use for the Video?

You may use any rental or race kart. The evaluation focuses on your driving technique rather than the kart itself.

 

12. What Should My Video Include?

Showcase your driving skills to the best of your ability.

13. How long can my video be?

The form permits you to submit 5 videos of up to 99MB each.

​

14. What is the Application Deadline for the Talent Hunt?

Stage 1 includes 7 weeks. Every week we choose 7 winners. The final week of Stage  runs from 17th August to 23rd August and applications will be accepted until then.

 

15. What Happens if I Am Not Selected in the First Week?

If you are not amongst the Top 7 selected in that weekend, you can reapply in any of the following weeks. A fresh application and repayment is necessary for the same.

 

Stage 2: Finals related FAQs

1. How Will I Know if I Have Qualified for Stage 2?

Winners will be announced on our official social media platforms and WhatsApp community. They will also be contacted separately with further details.

 

2. What happens after I qualify for Stage 2?

The Top 50 who proceed from Stage 1 to Stage 2 will receive sponsorships. However in Stage 2, the position in which you finish will determine your total sponsorship worth.
1st Place : 100% Sponsorship
2nd & 3rd Place : 50% Sponsorship
4th to 10th Place : 30% Sponsorship
11th to 50th Place : 20% Sponsorship

3. Is There a Fee for Stage 2?

Yes. A fee of INR 14,990 is payable for those who get chosen in Stage 1 and wish to proceed to Stage 2.

4. Is Stage 2 a Race?

No. Stage 2 is an in-person driver evaluation designed to assess your overall racing ability, not a race event.

​

5. When Will Stage 2 Take Place?

The dates for Stage 2 will be announced soon.

​

6. Where Will Stage 2 Be Held?

Stage 2 will be hosted across 5 cities (Mumbai, Pune, Delhi, Ahmedabad, Bangalore, and Hyderabad). Drivers are free to pick a city of their choice for the same.

7. How Long is Stage 2?

1 day.

8. What Happens After Stage 2?

Successful participants will be selected for the sponsored opportunity to compete in Round 2 of the SWS Dubai Endurance Karting Championship.

9. Can the Sponsorship Be Transferred to a Future Round?

No. The sponsorship is valid only for Shaw To Win’s Dubai Racing Experience for Round 2 of the SWS Dubai Endurance Karting Championship
